We held Dad's funeral yesterday at Stockport Crematorium and there were so many people there it was packed - Dad would have been so chuffed. My son Michael read a poem which his grandad would have been very proud of, and my brother Jonathan delivered a lovely eulogy which was a fitting tribute to such a wonderful Dad. We had one of Dad's favourite songs "Wind Beneath My Wings" to walk in to and the Last of the Summer Wine theme tune to walk out to, as it was a Dad's favourite programme. He loved watching repeats of it over and again and always found them funny. Dad would have been so touched to see so many people there to say goodbye to him.
